To change the battery, open the lower compartment with a coin or key. Be CAREFUL and be sure to close the compartment exactly how you opened it.
A standard 9 volt battery is used to power the motordrive. Be sure to have extra brand-new batteries on hand, the motordrive consumes batteries fairly quickly.
